Enzymes are proteins that allow our body’s cells to communicate. When food is heated above 118° F the enzymes are disorganised and in many cases destroyed, leaving the food unrecognisable to the body. Hence why the body sees cooked food as an invader and creates mucus to protect itself. This never happens with raw food as all the enzymes remain intact, as nature intended, so the body recognises them and can easily digest, assimilate and utilise the nutrients properly.
I love incorporating things in to my life that take minimum effort, but give maximum effect. Living foods work with nature to produce maximum health with little effort.

We can definitely live off cooked food, but we can not thrive off them. I want my cells to be as alive as possible and raw foods is one part of that.
On a larger scale, the way we eat indirectly alters our life’s path. Food plays a role in the decisions we make because it effects the way you think, the way you talk to others, and the way you act. What goes on in the stomach affects the blood which then affects the brain. The purity of living foods brings life to our thoughts and helps you to live a life that is clear, bright and on purpose.
Eating raw has helped to renew my mind, body and soul. It has inspired me in so many different ways and I’ve never looked back!
