Today I bring you a spicy chipotle tomato sauce. What is chipotle I hear you asking? Chipotle is a smoked hot chilli pepper, and this recipes uses the powder, which means the pepper has been dried and ground up. It has a moderate heat with fruity undertones and a BBQ flavour.
Chipotle has many health benefiting nutrients like capsaicin, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, fiber as well as Vitamin A, K, C B6 and potassium.
